PLAN SEMANAL DE NAVIDAD

LAST ZONES IN 2018

This week we need to:
1. Check all the worksheet we completed in our zones.
2. Do your last zone:
a) HANDS ON:

• Make your own comic strip. Click on this link

How to make Newspaper Ornaments step by step 

b) WRITING:

• Complete this writing: Santa Claus is coming to town
• Write your last minute letter to Santa
•

• Find the answer to the questions in this Christmas Quiz

• Christmas crossword
• Christmas wh-questions quiz

Weekly Plan XMAS

 What do you need? 

• A reading book
• 6 plastic cups and 3-4 colour permanent markers

/ or construction pieces of three different colours.

• A sheet of paper with the same structure you built and space to write, like in the example.

 What do you need? 

- Choose a book and report what book you chose to your teacher.

- Read a book in English.

- Build a tower like the ones in the pictures below (with plastic cups or construction pieces) and take a picture of your tower.

- Write about the main elements in your story in a diagram to explain your tower. 

- Finally, write a few lines to summarize the story and the reasons why you liked it.

Weekly Plan 10th December

We are going to work with some vocabulary related to Cinema this week.

To do this weekly plan you will need:
- FILMS vocabulary sheet: Types of films, TV programmes, Film elements and Adjectives
- A dictionary or www.wordreference.com 

Here is what you need to do:

1. Find...

a) ...a science fiction film from year 2016 (keyword: mutant) . 

b) an action film in 2014 (clue: starring  Aaron Taylor-Johnson).   

c) a comedy film in 2002 (clue: starring Hugh Grant).    

d)  an animated film in 2018 (keywords: family on holiday)

2. Answer these questions about the films a-d:

1. What's the film about?
2. Is it based on a book?
3. What's the Spanish translation of the title?
4. Name the main character/s andd 3 actors/actresses.
5. Describe the film with 3 adjectives (amazing, interesting, boring, realistic, disgusting, silly, educational, enjoyable, special, frightening, exciting, unusual...).
